Personal financial materials, brief historical and biographical sketches, and records of the North Fairview Mining Company (1905-1909). Banker and businessman, of Cottage Grove, Or.; b. in Pleasant Hill, Or., to Lane County pioneers William W. and Elizabeth (Coffey) Bristow. After receiving a B.A. degree from the University of Oregon in 1884, he began his career as businessman and banker. The First National Bank of Eugene began as the Bank of Hendricks and Eakin on December 1, 1883. The bank was founded by Thomas G.
